This is just a placeholder page for now.

We will be writing about things such as

  • The monopole gravitational field;
  • Corrections due to multipole mass moments;
  • Imaging extended objects;
  • Direct and Fourier deconvolution;
  • Noise contributions and signal-to-noise estimates;
  • Dynamics (exosystem dynamics, solar wobble);
  • Temporal behavior (planetary rotation, illumination).

We will be using beautiful $\LaTeX$ equations like this one that characterizes the effect of solar multipoles on the SGL PSF:

$$ B({\bf x})=\frac{1}{2\pi}\displaystyle\int_0^{2\pi} d\phi_\xi \exp\Big[-ik\Big(\sqrt{\frac{2r_g}{r}}\rho\cos(\phi_\xi-\phi)+ 2r_g\sum_{n=2}^\infty \frac{J_n}{n} \Big(\frac{R_\odot }{\sqrt{2r_gr}}\Big)^n\sin^n\beta_s\cos[n(\phi_\xi-\phi_s)]\Big)\Big]. $$
